Oakman Aerospace, Inc. (OAI) Achieves First Year
of Successful Operation

Oakman Aerospace, Inc. (OAI), a global leader in rapid and responsive space systems and services announces the completion of the first year of successful operation.  OAI is a veteran-owned small business headquartered in Littleton, Colorado, USA.  OAI was founded by Stanley O. Kennedy, Jr. on July 15, 2012 immediately following the closure of Comtech AeroAstro (CAA) operations by CAA parent Comtech Telecommunication, Inc. (CMTL).  OAI transferred key enabling technologies, equipment, and intellectual property rights through an Asset Purchase and Sale Agreement.
During the first year of operations OAI successfully completed the build-out of the Commercial Test Facility (CTF) and Commercial Modular Testbed (CMT) for OAI domestic and international customers. In the last year these capabilities have provided OAI customers exceptional and unparalleled services in the areas of simulation, test, analysis and complex mission development with modular architectures.
In addition, OAI re-established registration with the United States Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) for Manufacturer and Exporter services.  OAI has multiple Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA) in-place and in-work with our international customers and teammates.  OAI customer base includes commercial, government, and academic organizations and institutions in the U.S. and abroad.
Fiscal year 2013 revenues exceeded $2.0M USD.
Stanley O. Kennedy, Jr. commenting on the one year anniversary said, “It is exciting and rewarding to be in business working directly with all of the OAI customers, teammates, suppliers, and vendors.  The first year of operations has established a solid business model of providing high technology products and services to our stakeholders in a cost-effective and responsive way.  All the staff at OAI are personally committed to doing right by our customers.  The Aerospace industry is undergoing profound change through International Trafficking in Arms (ITAR) and Export Control Reform (ECR) initiatives pertaining to satellite products and services. OAI is positioned well to thrive in the new regulatory environment and globally competitive marketplace”.  Mr. Kennedy also expressed deep appreciation to the entire staff of OAI for their dedicated service and attention to detail that has laid the foundation for many more years of successful business opportunities.  He stated, “Our internal team represents some of the best and brightest in the industry and is allowing OAI to rapidly expand our products and services offerings”.
